Hello one and all! I hope the year 2020 has been a blessing so far. I trust we are all fully resolved and totally committed to what God has purposed for us in this season.

Recently I went through most of the posts I made on this blog just to refresh myself of the journey. I am amazed! God really spoke to us through these posts, I was tremendously blessed just to reread them. One of the things that stood out the most was the purpose I started. It is to this end with the inspiration of the Holy Ghost I will be doing a spring series entitled “Facing Giants.” Didn’t you just love the summer series and all the beautiful voices you heard from? I know you did, the feedback was heartfelt. I can only hope that this series, though different in nature will be just as appreciated. The giant slayers will be sharing how they overcame or is presenting overcoming life’s challenges. These stories will absolutely challenge and strengthen your faith.

We are unaware of all the events that will happen in the year 2020, but these testimonies will stand as a backdrop for the rough seasons that are ahead. If they overcame, the same God who brought them through will bring you through. A good and faithful disciple is one who prepares and expects even the unexpected. That is what this series will be all about. Preparation and encouragement. I say to all my readers out there; go ahead, make your best plans but please leave room for divine interruptions. At any time God can just show up and do something completely different from what you have planned or hoped for, as believers we should be opened and live ready for these possibilities.

These events are sometimes very challenging, life altering and they stand as a giant in our way; the death of a loved one, the besetting sins, the financial losses and the list goes on. Many of us are crippled by fear and lack the courage to face these situations hence we live in dormancy. We desire to grow spiritually and take off on eagles’ wings but we are held hostage by our giants. By the power invested in me by the Holy Ghost I come on commission to set you free! You will be delivered! You will recover! You will overcome! You will look that giant in the eye and knock him down. You have the power! Jesus said you would do greater and I believe it. I have confidence that it will turn around for you. This is the beginning of a new chapter for you!

There is a giant slayer is all of us but many of us are running from our divine commission like Jonah. I hope that by the grace of God and the testimonies of these overcomers that you will stand like Caleb and boldly request your giant. Is there not a cause? The world awaits your victory and heaven is rooting on you! God has given you all that is takes not just to face your giant but to slay him. I am so excited to take this step with you. Please share with a friend and keep abreast of the updates. God has something for you on The Pilgrimage, you can’t afford to miss it!

Now therefore give me this mountain, whereof the Lord spake in that day; for thou heardest in that day how the Anakims were there, and that the cities were great and fenced: if so be the Lord will be with me, then I shall be able to drive them out, as the Lord said. (Joshua 14:12, KJV)

“Children ought to be seen and not heard!” I grew up with this mentality after always being disciplined into silence. “See and blind, hear and deaf.” We have been socialized to accept this culture of silence. Hurting people continue to hurt other people. Family cycles of failure never ends. No changes, no real breakthroughs. By the power of the Holy Ghost I am come to put an end to this culture of silence that has robbed God’s children of true peace and liberty that salvation so freely provides. I seek to be transparent with my experiences and provide real solutions to real problems. I am come to talk about the taboo topics and shed light on things that are often covered. I am an Apostolic young lady. I am caring, fun and loving by virtue of character with the proclivity to bring out the best in others. I enjoy reading inspirational books and watching videos of the same. I cherish my alone times which I often use to reflect and revamp. I am a family girl with a deep love for humanity. I am a Counsellor by profession and am very passionate about what I do. My desire is to make a mark on my world by changing a life at a time. I aspire to be a Published Author, Motivational Speaker and Events Planner. I have in recent times developed an appreciation for creative cooking, as such, I am appreciating the kitchen more. My favourite dish is stew peas, but I also enjoy spicy Chinese food. I love writing, it is and has been my way of expressing my deepest and most sincere thoughts. I have an adventurous heart, so some day I will travel the world with my family but until then let us take this journey together!
