Testimony Time

The Lord spoke to me at the starting of 2017 and told me that I would travel. I doubted greatly. It was the height of impossibilities due to my reality. But if the Lord says it, you can count on it for He will do just what He says! Doors were opened, access was granted to the miraculous and I walked in divine favour. Here’s my testimony in a picture story. I am allowing the vision to speak.

Work Flow

First day of work!!
  • Cheers to better days when my uniform started fitting
  • Days when I was earlier than the driver so I had to wait outside and take selfies.
  • When work is over but Richard (driver) is not there as yet. Smile Petra 🙂
  • I felt like taking a selfie. These waits were annoying! I was really learning patience.
  • The lady who permanently scarred me. She said I will never forget her. I have no choice now. Dixie!!!
  • Because I wore full black to my second job. I remember washing my hair and feeling ‘photogenic’ this particular Sunday evening. Brick Oven has the best pizza ever!! No questions.

The Pentecostals of Richmond

  • They were my first Black friends! They introduced me to all the Jamaicans in the congregation. Lovely folks. My Home Group Fellowship members. #Yardie
  • From the very first time I met her I knew there was just something special about her. Her spirit is so pure. Amazing woman of God #Mom

  • I loved Wednesdays, Home group fellowship. We studied the book of Job. “Better than before”. Awesome study!
  • Another Wednesday evening fellowship with my Home Group! I think this was our movie night. Stepping into greater things, better than before!
  • Shantel 🙂 My almost twin, just a couple hours a part. Wednesday night Bible Study! Thy Word ❤
  • Day #2 of the District Conference. The day I met Pastor Anthony Mangun. Woot Woot! Awesome experience.
  • Jamaica Independence Day fell on a Sunday. I had to represent #Black #Green and #Gold. I am proud to be a Jamaican (sometimes 🙂 )
  • I never liked this outfit for some strange reason. Felt country.
  • Ahhhhh!!! So much can be said about Elizabeth. I could always look forward to our conversations to church on Sundays. She was so concerned about me especially when I got burnt.

  • Heya!! Its Sunday. Me every Sunday morning it was like God gave me extra strength on Sundays. In His presence there is fullness of Joy!
  • I was so challenged by this word. I will NEVER forget it. Forever changed. “Slaying a lion on a snowy day!” – Conditions don’t need to be perfect for us to do what the Lord requires of us. my take away.
  • This was a very sentimental day for us. Roxanne was at her wits end but God sent a word from home. All we needed to do was to surrender all and watch God work. Forever grateful at God’s work! He worked it all out!
  • “When all you have is a Word from God” My my my. It was a rhema word for us, no lie. The Word of the Lord is enough!

Special Moments

New Jersey & New York Tour

Good night from New Jersey!!! My first night in New Jersey. I felt so happy!! Such a tranquil atmosphere.

  • It was so crazy when we met up at the airport, you would have thought we were mad people. Jumping, screaming, hugging and almost crying. Omg. My Delisser. More than a friend, my sister from another mother. Finally homeeee. What a summer!!! Let us do it again.

I know the Lord still makes promises to men, just as He did with Abraham. We may not see the way but let us trust His sovereign plan. God is not a man that He should lie. His testimony is sure! God will fulfill His promises to you, though it tarries, wait on it! The vision will speak! God bless you!

“Children ought to be seen and not heard!” I grew up with this mentality after always being disciplined into silence. “See and blind, hear and deaf.” We have been socialized to accept this culture of silence. Hurting people continue to hurt other people. Family cycles of failure never ends. No changes, no real breakthroughs. I seek to be transparent with my experiences and provide real solutions to real problems. I am come to talk about the taboo topics and shed light on things that are often covered. I am an Apostolic young lady. I am caring, fun and loving by virtue of character with the proclivity to bring out the best in others. I enjoy reading inspirational books and watching videos of the same. I cherish my alone times which I often use to reflect and revamp. I am a family girl with a deep love for humanity. I am a Counsellor by profession and am very passionate about what I do. My desire is to make a mark on my world by changing a life at a time. I aspire to be a Published Author, Motivational Speaker and Events Planner. I have in recent times developed an appreciation for creative cooking, as such, I am appreciating the kitchen more. My favourite dish is stew peas, but I also enjoy spicy Chinese food. I love writing, it is and has been my way of expressing my deepest and most sincere thoughts. I have an adventurous heart, so some day I will travel the world with my family but until then let us take this journey together!
